Description
Mandukya Upanishad is an Atharvavedic text from the Saunakiya branch. The letter-Brahm 'Om' has been thoroughly discussed in this. It is also known as the 'Mantropanishad.' It has three mundaks, each with two sections, and a total of sixty-four mantras. The meaning of 'Mandukya' is the one who gives the mind immense power and liberates it from the darkness of ignorance. Maharishi Angira teaches Shaunak the concept of 'para -apara' in this Upanishad. The words 'Satyamev Jayate' in India's national emblem are taken directly from the Mandukya Upanishad.
