Varaha Avatar is the most important avatar of the 24 incarnations of Lord Vishnu. This Purana was named after him, Varaha Purana. Lord Vishnu incarnated as Varaha and rescued the earth from the sea. Prithvi Dev praised the Lord and inquired about the well-being of all living beings at the time.
